UPDATE 5:51 p.m. The Supreme Court will now issue opinions next week on Wednesday at 10 a.m., as well as on Tuesday.
————
Coming back on Monday from a four-week recess, the Supreme Court will issue orders on new cases — perhaps including some grants of review — at 9:30 a.m. On Tuesday at 10 a.m., the Court is expected to issue one or more decisions in argued cases. Hearings in cases granted earlier will be held on all three hearing days of next week.
The Court issued a short list of orders on Friday afternoon, but there were no cases granted on that list. If the Justices chose any, that would be announced on Monday. The Court’s argument calendar for all of the current Term is set, so any new cases accepted for review are expected to go over to the next Term.
